 Mrs. Mary V. (Pentosuglio) Ortolano, 84, passed away with her loved ones by her side, on Friday, July 30, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Mary was born in Utica, February 13, 1926, a daughter of Vito Antonio and Vita (Lentina) Pendasulo. She was educated in local schools and attended TR Proctor High School.
In 1946, she was joined in marriage to Samuel F. Ortolano, a loving marriage of seventeen years until Sam passed away at a young age in 1964.
Mary is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mark Taurisano, of New Hartford and Sandra and Bill Wilsey, of Verona; five grandchildren, Dana and Anthony Taurisano, Casey Ortolano, and Samantha and Billy Wilsey; a great grandchild, Dale; and also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church in Utica. There are no calling hours. The family will receive visitors at the church.
