Floyd J. Carvelli Jr., 54, a resident of the Heritage Health Care Center passed away after a long illness on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
He was born in Utica on September 15, 1957, a son of Floyd and Teresa (Arcuri) Carvelli. Sr. He was educated in local schools and was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School. Floyd was employed at Human Technology Services in Utica for over twenty five years.
He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Catherine and Jack Kunkel of Palm City, FL and several aunts, uncles and cousins in Utica. He was predeceased by his parents Floyd and Teresa and his brother John Carvelli.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a future time and date to be announced at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Private interment was held at St. Agnes Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Heritage Home for their loving care of Floyd during his residence there.

JR rest in peace. I will miss you and cherish all the memories we share. The lastest was the best giving you your haircut and shave while you, Re and myself laughed for hours. I am sure the family greeted you in heaven for you are a special angel.
