My sister, they say that when one door closes, another one opens. This week, you have closed the earthly one and opened the pearly gated door to heaven.
You have taught much of the family what it is like to truly persevere......... and have raised two beautiful children to carry on that legacy and in turn pass it on to theirs.
I remember many, many moons ago when we resided in Frankfort and I was just a young puppy, you brought cookies over for the family (but I knew they were mostly for me!)I'm sorry I didn't savor that taste a bit more, but now I see that many others have.
And, in exchange you would treat yourself to a (Pop's) Cheerio ice cream bar that you loved to chomp on.
Thank you for your last extensive letter. We will miss just knowing that you are with us, but take comfort in knowing that you were.

Mom you will be deeply missed. You were the light that lit the hallways of Methuen Village, residents had so many tales to tell of your sharing spirit, your homemade cookies, the purchases you made for others who couldn't leave their homes. You've given me more than I could ever say, courage to live fully, perseverance to move forward no matter what and a spirit of loving generosity and kindness to try to make a difference in the world. I love you Mom. I will live up to being my mother's daughter. You are deeply missed but I know you are reunited with others and that your spirit lives in all that you've touched. You are the best mother anyone could choose to have. I love you.

Mom, I may be back home in NH but I will not say good bye because I feel you will always be with me. Mom, I admire your strength, the times you struggled with your mobility but kept going and continued trying to do the things you liked the most. Mom even with your challenges you continued to bake, shop, and do your own cleaning and laundry. You even folded the clothes of others just to help out.
I will always love you Mom,thanks for giving me the privilege of being your daughter.
