Alice Ward Obituary

Alice was a beautiful women who dedicated her life to Jehovah and was Baptized on April 29, 1961. She loved her God Jehovah and did as described in 1 Timothy 4:8 and10. She exerted herself because she rested her hope on a living God, who is a Savior of all sorts of people, especially of faithful ones. Yes, our dear sister did just that right to the end of her life. Godly devotion is beneficial for all things, as it holds promise of the life now and the life that is to come. She held on to that bright future of living in a peaceful paradise.

Alice Ward was born June 19, 1934 in McCormick, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Earl Sibert Sr. and Sulla Mae Martin Sibert. Alice graduated from Mims High School May 29, 1953 and shortly after her graduation she moved to Detroit, Michigan to live with her Aunt Mary. Alice married Joseph T. Ward on November 17, 1955. He passed away February 28, 1985. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great great grandmother and friends to many.

Alice was the second oldest of six children. Alice Ward is preceded in death by four siblings: Earl, Charles, Andrew and Joseph Sibert. Alice will be greatly missed by her children, Cynthia Ward, Michelle Ward and Chris Kelly, Joseph Ward and Winnie Ward.  Also, the grandchildren and great grand children: Melissa & Vincent Dillard, Jenai Drake, Mathew & Santina, Cassandra, Lorenzo, Emmy, Ariya, Cameron, Jaquell, Jalil, Jaylen, Jahki, Vincent Jr. and Jianni and her brother Jessie Sibert and wife Joann Sibert.
