Anthony “Tony” Meola III, 57, passed away unexpectedly, due to cardiac complications, Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
Anthony was born in Utica, September 13, 1965, a son of Anthony and Palma (Gentile) Meola. He was educated in Mt. Carmel schools and attended TR Proctor High School, graduating in 1983. Tony held many jobs and was most known for his time at Men’s Warehouse. He has lived in Sarasota for several years and was currently employed at the Patio Factory, in Sarasota.
He is survived by his parents, Tony and Palma; his wife, Cheri and her children; his precious daughter, Danielle Meola and her mother, Kelly Dolney; brother, Frank Meola, sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Carlo Perugia, aunts and uncles, Frank and Gerri Meola, and Michael and Barb Meola; nephews, Anthony and Alyssa, Frank, Jake, Cosimo, Antonio, and Trevor; and cousins, Frank Jr. and Kenny Meola, and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, at 12 noon, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish, Utica. The family will greet visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at church and the mass will begin promptly at noon.
