Mrs. Antoinette “Toni” Sinisgalli, 98, of Columbia, SC and formerly of Utica, NY, passed away, Friday, April 3, 2026.
Antoinette was born in Utica, NY, March 17, 1928, one of nine children born to Pasquale and Maria (Malachino) Moracco.
She was educated in local schools, including Proctor High School. On January 17, 1953, Toni was married to Leonard Sinisgalli, a well-known musician, arranger, and composer. The couple lived and raised their family in New York City for over thirty-five years until Leonard’s passing on October 22, 1991.
In January of 2019, Toni moved to South Carolina to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her children, Nick Sinisgalli and his wife, Barbara; her daughter, Lynn Sinisgalli Finley and her husband, Joe, of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Olivia Sinisgalli, Matthew Sinisgalli, Leonard Joseph Finley, and Riley Finley, as well as, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Roy and Maggie Howland, Mary and Joseph DeProspero, John and Rose Semeraro, Sam and Theresa Morocco, Frank and Rosalie Morocco, Joseph and Josephine Morocco, and John and Elizabeth Morocco
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish in Utica, NY. Antoinette will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Leonard in St. Agnes Cemetery, Utica.
