Barbara (Williams) Kinney

Barbara (Williams) Kinney, 74, passed away, in the comfort of her home, with loving family by her side, Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Barbara was born in Scranton, PA, June 15, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Elizabeth (Gilgallon) Williams. She was raised and educated in Utica and a graduate of Utica School of Commerce.

Always family oriented, Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid NASCAR fan, who loved watching the races, in what was known as her “race room” filled with her beloved Dale Earnhardt memorabilia.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Kinney; daughter, Carrie Cardona; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Gloria Sheppard, and David and Corinne Doolen; five grandchildren, Jessica Cordero Sheppard and her wife Jenn Cordero Sheppard, Jordan Cardona, Bobby Sheppard Jr., Alexis Marie Doolen, and Dakota Lynn Doolen; and sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Norman Toner. Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Robert E. Williams Jr.; and her beloved dog, Bruno.
