Mr. Brian “Bubba” Milton, 64, passed away peacefully, at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, on July 5th, 2024.
Brian was born in the Bronx, NY, on December 28, 1959. Bubba was born with Cerebral Palsy and was non verbal throughout his life. Although he wasn’t able to express his thoughts and emotions with words, he did so with his passion for music. Bubba had a love and devotion for anything with drums or conga style beats. He loved moving to the beat and dancing with the staff; and enjoyed being sung to while having his head rubbed. Brian enjoyed going out into the community and other activities, but, music over anything else was most important to him.
Bubba is survived by his family at the Kilbane House; and the all the staff at Upstate Caring Partners.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., corner of Mohawk St., in Utica. Burial will take place in Holland Patent Cemetery.
A special thanks to the staff at Upstate Caring Partners for their years of love and compassion shown to Brian.
