Carmella Pandolf

Miss Carmella Pandolf, age 98, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Heritage Health Care Center. Carmella was born in Utica on March 4, 1918, a daughter of the late Donato "Dan" and Rose Lacolla Pandolf. She was educated in Utica schools and graduated from Utica Free Academy. Carmella worked in many positions caring for children over the years. She was a pleasant, loving and devoted daughter and sister, who many times sacrificed her own needs for those she loved. Carmella is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and Louis Barretta of Casselberry, FL; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Philomena Pandolf of Rochester, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Jane Zizzi and Mamie Meyer. Carmella's funeral services were held privately with interment in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are with The Matt Funeral Home, Utica.
