Mrs. Carol A. Intorre, 90, went to her eternal home, to join the Lord, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, her loving family was by her side.
She was born in Utica, February 21, 1934, a daughter of the late Spencer and Dorothy (Corts) Delpho. Carol attended local schools, including Utica Free Academy and graduated from Whitesboro Senior High School.
A proud veteran, Carol served our country in the US Navy, during the Korean War. She was joined in marriage to Benjamin Joseph Intorre on December 7, 1991; the couple enjoyed a loving marriage of over 17 years. Ben was a musician and party clown and she loved working with him, making balloons and face painting with the kids. Her beloved Ben, passed away in May of 2008.
A loving mom and grandmother, her happiest times were caring, cooking, and being with her family. She is survived by her five children, Thomas John Martin, Robert Spencer Martin (Marlene), Maryanne Hastings (Tom), Steve Martin, and Kathleen Hazelton; stepson, Angelo Intorre (Dorothea); and many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters; her son-in-law, Robert “Bobby” Hazelton; a daughter-in-law, Denise Martin; and a very special friend, Tina Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life, with Military Honors, Wednesday, May 22nd, at 11 a.m., at Harts Hill Baptist Church in Whitesboro with Pastor Seth McCoy, officiating. This service will be livestreamed https://m.facebook.com/hartshillbaptist . Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
