Cynthia Ward Snyder

Cynthia Ward Snyder, 59, passed after a long illness on Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born in Utica on March 12, 1957, the daughter of John and Selina (LaSalle) Ward. She was raised and educated in Clinton and a graduate of Clinton Senior High School. She is survived by her brother, Michael Ward; five children, Shawn and Jess Ward, Aaron Snyder, Melissa Snyder, Paul Ward; and Sixto Quiles III; twelve grandchildren, Trinity, Kiara, Lia, Nicole, Aaron Jr., Celina, Paul, Jr., Avianna, Alayshia, Aria, Sixto IV, and Liam; many beloved nieces and nephews, who she loved like her own; and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Sauerhafer. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at The Matt Funeral Home.
