David Talerico Jr.

David Talerico Jr., 48, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, October 3, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

            David was born in Utica, June 15, 1974, son of David Talerico Sr. and Filomena Centolella Torchia. He was raised and educated locally, and graduated from Westmoreland High School in 1993. David enjoyed being outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or camping, and especially time spent with his children. His children were the most important thing to him. He was always lending a helping hand around the house and had a passion for hockey and rooting for the New Jersey Devils.

            He is survived by his mother, Filomena (Centolella) and Kevin Torchia; father, David Talerico Sr.; three children, Anthony, Tristen, and Katie Talerico; brother, John Talerico; nephew, Gavin Talerico; niece, Brianna Talerico; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

            David is predeceased by his grandparents, Ralph Centolella II and Elviera Heinrich; and Carol and Paul Talerico; and Godfather, Ralph Centolella III.

            David’s Mass of Christian Burial with Military Honors will be held on Friday, October 21, at 12 noon, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/ Blessed Sacrament Parish. The family would like to thank Aunt Shelly Talerico and Aunt Maria Centolella, for their help, care, and compassion during this difficult time.
