Deborah J. (Hahn) Fite

Deborah J. (Hahn) Fite, 70, passed away peacefully, at her home, Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

She was born in Utica, October 26, 1953, a daughter of the late Robert M. Hahn and Nancy J. (Cowburn) Hahn. She was educated in local schools and a graduate of Utica Free Academy. On October 1, 1983, Deborah was married to Robert L. Fite, with whom she spent 11 years of marriage and over 20 years in a loving union, until Robert’s passing in 1995. She was employed for many years as a nurse in the community.

She is survived by her two sons and a daughter, Jason and Stephanie Hahn, Mel and Danielle Fite, and Alyza Allen; her mother, Nancy Hahn; grandchildren, Zachary and Soledad Hahn, Ashley and Zack Childs, Stella Fite and Luke Fite; great grandchildren, RaMiah Hahn, Omari Hahn, Nolan Childs, Aiyana Childs, and Maliyah Hahn; a brother, Edward Hahn; a sister Cynthia Hahn; and her beloved dog, Snoop.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; her father, Robert Hahn; and two sisters, Michele Garcia and Catherine Grimes.

In accordance with Deborah’s wishes, her family will honor her in a private gathering.
