Dennis Burdick, 63, passed away peacefully, at home, April 5, 2022, with his loving family by his side.

Dennis was born in Utica, NY, October 6, 1958, a son of Roger and Anna (Speciale) Burdick. He was raised and educated in local schools and attended MVCC. Dennis was employed with Upstate Cerebral Palsy for the last 28 years.

On October 11, 1980, Dennis married Helen "Chris" Nimmo and they have shared a blessed union of more than 41 years. He was a member of the 315 Street Machines Car Club; and enjoyed driving his restored 1973 Plymouth Duster with pride.

He is survived by his wife; his mother, Anna; son, Dennis Jr. (Sarah White); daughter, Jessica (Daniel Szuba); seven grandchildren, all of  whom he adored with all his heart, Gianna, Kadence, Madison, Jack, Abigail, Dominic, and Ryan; brother, Roger (Elaine) Burdick; sister, Carmella Burdick; father-in-law, Lindsey Nimmo; brothers-in-law, David (Diana) Nimmo and John (Robin) Nimmo; and also several aunts, uncles, cousins, and several close friends. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Roger Burdick; and his mother-in-law, Bessie Nimmo.

Dennis’ mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, in Utica. Visitation will be on Friday, from 5-7 p.m., at The Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., corner of Mohawk St., in Utica. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
