Donna (Alfano) Williams

Donna (Alfano) Williams, 64, passed away unexpectedly, in the comfort of her home, Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Donna was born in Utica, May 11, 1959, a daughter of the late Carmen and Margaret (Zegarelli) Alfano. She was raised and educated locally, graduating from Sauquoit Valley Central School in 1978.

Donna was a kind hearted person, who was always there for anyone in need. She loved being out in her garden tending to her flowers and was known for having a green thumb. She was a great cook and homemaker, and in her household everything had to be just right, whether it was the flowers in the garden, the way the lawn was push mowed, or the arrangements of the furniture throughout the house, she always made sure everything was in order. She enjoyed riding her bike and recently found passion in painting.

She is survived by her loving companion of 24 years, Greg Rogers; son, Shawn Paul Williams; daughter, Erica Lynn Williams; step-son, Gregory Bruce Rogers; step-daughter, Aletha Ann Rogers; sister, Karen Alfano; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Miho Alfano; brother-in-law, Michael Rogers; and sister-in-law, Joanne Rogers. She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Alfano.

Interment will be in West Winfield Cemetery at the family’s convenience. Donna’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 16th, 1 to 4 p.m., at West Winfield Park.
