Donte Lee Green

Mr. Donte Lee Green, 26, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2024.

Donte was born in Utica, NY, September 20, 1997, a son of Gary Green Jr. and Kimberly Yero. He was raised and educated locally and a 2016 graduate of T.R. Proctor High School.

From a young age, Donte always had a passion for computers. He enjoyed building, programming, and working on them and especially liked to engineer music and beats. Donte loved being around family and was always very affectionate. It didn’t matter if he saw you once a day or five times a day, he was giving you a big hug each time and would leave saying “I love you, One”.

Donte leaves behind his beloved daughter, Kimberlyn in common with Sara Doody; parents, Gary Green Jr. and Kimberly Yero; brother, Donnell James Green; sister, Deyanna Green; grandfather, Dennis Yero; grandmother, Evon Green; grandfather, Gary Green Sr.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Linda Yero; great grandmother, Annie Clyde Watson; and his great aunt, who was always close to his heart, Sue Yero.

Donte’s family honored him privately and he was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery with his grandmother.
