Elizabeth was born in Rome, NY on July 28, 1940, a daughter of the late Francis and Ivy (Townsend) Roberts. She was raised and educated in Utica, attended St. Agnes Catholic School, and was a graduate of Utica Catholic Academy.

She later attended Mohawk Valley Community College, receiving her Medical Secretaries Certificate, which led to her employment and retirement from St. Elizabeth Medical Center, as their secretary of maintenance and engineering.

Liz and Tony enjoyed walking the Market Commons, in Myrtle Beach, SC and later in the afternoon enjoyed sharing a coffee and sweet tea together at the Donut Man.  Liz and Tony’s most cherished times were being surrounded by their children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed shopping with her daughters and grandchildren.
