Mr. Francis Everson Baer, 86, passed away peacefully at home, with his loving family by his side, on Monday, December 7, 2020.
He was born in Utica, January 17, 1934, a son of the late George and Aileen (Everson) Baer. He was educated in Catholic schools and a graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School. Frank served our country in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. Frank was a claims adjuster for Utica National Insurance for over twenty-three years.
On October 1, 1955, he was joined in marriage to the former Beverly P. Prior. Frank and Beverly have enjoyed sixty-five loving years of marriage, completely devoted to each other and their family. They relocated to Tampa a few years ago to enjoy the sun.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly; his four daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Richard O’Donnell, Doreen and Raymond Altieri, Jennifer and Peter Navratil, and Frances and Michael Wehby; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, George E. Baer; and his sister, Anne B. Curley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass with Military Honors on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Private interment will be in Norwich Corners Cemetery.
