Fritz Chery

Fritz Chery, 59, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly, at his home, Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

He was born in Port of Prince, Haiti, July 20, 1964. Fritz was raised and educated in Haiti and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He was married to Irene Edmond Chery and together came to this country in 1994. Irene passed away in 2012.

Fritz was machinist and was employed by Indium Corp for many years. He was a very hard worker and was dedicated to his family, always striving for excellence in everything that he did.

He is survived by his four children, Anders, Francis, Iriele, and Emmanuella; and also many relatives and friends here and in Haiti.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, Friday November 10, 2023, 10 a.m., at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
