Horace Bradt

Mr. Horace R. Bradt, 69, passed away peacefully, August 3, 2024, in his own home at the Kilbane House, in Utica.

Horace was born on September 5, 1954, the son of the late Levern Bradt and Emily Smith. Horace was born with special needs and was a part of the Upstate Caring Partners family if only for a short period of time. He resided in the Foltsbrook Home in Herkimer for many years before moving to the Kilbane House. Horace enjoyed playing cards, bingo and any group activities. He liked to spend his time going out in the community and loved watching sports, especially his favorite football.

Horace is predeceased by his parents Levern Teff Bradt and Emily Louise Smith, and his sister, Kathleen Bradt, also of the Foltsbrook Home in Herkimer.

Horace will have a visitation on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the Matt Funeral Home, corner of Mohawk and Rutger St. in Utica. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery, in Utica.
