Mrs. Joan A. (Siriano) Manfredo, 92, passed away peacefully, with loving family by her side, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Sunset Nursing Home, in Boonville, NY.
Joan was born in Utica, February 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Frank P. and Jenny (Stagliano) Siriano. She was educated in local schools. On April 30, 1949, she was joined in marriage to Richard J. Manfredo. The couple shared over thirty-one loving years until Richard passed away, at an early age, on October 28, 1980.
Joan was employed as a solderer, and worked on sidewinder missiles, at General Electric in Utica, for over thirty-two years. She was a fifty year member of the Whitestown Post, 1113 Ladies Auxiliary, serving as Unit and County President.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sandra Manfredo; son-in- law, Edward Barry; grandchildren, Sean and Dana Barry, Kelly McHold, and Kevin Barry; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and also many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Marilyn Joyce Barry, who was always close to her heart; and her sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Sydney Gray.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her inurnment service, at Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum in Yorkville, Friday, March 8, at 12:30 p.m.
