Joseph A. Mazzatti Jr., 93, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 28, 2023.
He was born in Utica, June 24, 1929, a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Minnie (Mazza) Mazzatti. He was a 1947 graduate of TR Proctor High School and attended Utica School of Commerce. Joe was a purchasing agent for the Associated Textile Rental Services for over forty years. Always community minded, Joe enjoyed volunteering and did so at the Parkway Senior Center, Utica Public Library, Hope House, Oneida County Historical Society, and was a member of the Legion of Mary.
He is survived by his sister, Anna DiSpirito; his sister-in-law, Domenica “Mamie” Mazzatti and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Gus, Nicholas, and Thomas Mazzatti.
In keeping with Joe’s wishes, his family honored him in a private gathering and he was laid to rest, with his beloved parents, at Calvary Cemetery.
