Laurence Matthew Saporito

Laurence "Larry" Saporito, 37, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Larry was born in New Hartford, NY, September 28, 1982, a son of Joseph A. Saporito and the late Leane Cook. He was raised in Utica by his parents, Joseph and Christine (Warchal) Saporito, and educated in local schools, graduating from TR Proctor High School. Larry lived in Florida for the past several years, working in the construction business, with his brother in law, Jason.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jocelyn Saporito; his parents, Joseph and Christine Saporito; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Jason Waters, with whom he resided; twin brother, Joseph Saporito Jr.; brothers, Jonathon Saporito and his fiance', Jenna Carrock and Michael Saporito; his grandmothers, Jane Saporito and Jane Warchal; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Salvatore Saporito Sr.; grandmother, Anna Philips; grandfather, Chester Warchal; uncles, Salvatore Saporito Jr., Gary Cook and David Warchal; and aunt, Cynthia Rosato.

Due to the current health concerns and keeping within CDC guidelines, Larry's family will honor him privately. A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Larry's life will be held in the future at a day and time to be announced.
