Lawrence G. “Larry” Pisano Jr., 74, passed away peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, Friday March 1, 2024, at the Wynn Hospital.
Larry was born in Utica, May 27, 1949, a son of the late Lawrence “Larry” Sr. and Margaret (Scott) Pisano. He attended St. Agnes Catholic School and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School. Larry was a Utica Firefighter, retiring after twenty years of service.
On August 8, 1970, Larry was joined in marriage to the former Rae Ann Whorley. Rae Ann and Larry shared over fifty-three loving years of marriage. She passed away on August 13, 2023.
He is survived by his sister, Rockie Napoli; brother, Michael Pisano and Donna Caruso; in-laws, Phyllis and Dennis Philipkowski, and Salvatore “Sam” Fanelli; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine friends, Zoe and Mickey. He was predeceased by his brother, John Pisano; brother-in-law, Alfonse “Snookie” Napoli; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Fanelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m., at Historic Old St. John’s Church. The family will greet visitors prior to mass from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the church.
