Obituary
Utica, NY: Lynn Louis Gordon, 72, passed away, in the comfort of his own home, Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
Lynn was born in Buffalo, NY, August 22, 1950, a son of the late Philip Gordon and Jean VanTassle. Lynn was once married to Christmas Litz, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage and during those years the couple had their four children.
Lynn’s passion throughout his life was music. He was a guitarist and enjoyed his time playing, listening, and performing. Lynn was a second degree black belt in Karate and appreciated many parts of East Asian culture. He had a fondness for learning, and in his later years, attended Mohawk Valley Community College, where he completed multiple degrees and accreditations. Lynn grew up loving superhero comics and this love grew into an affinity for superhero movies, which he collected throughout the years.
Lynn is survived by his four children, Phylicia, Annalee, Andrew, and Rose Gordon.
According to Lynn’s wishes, his family honored him privately.
