Patricia Pearl Jachowski

Mrs. Patricia Pearl (Rehm) Jachowski, 50, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 1, 2015. She was born in Utica, on March 12, 1964, a daughter of Ronald Rehm and the former Patricia Sholes. She was educated in Westmorland schools and a graduate of the Utica School of Commerce. On April 26, 1996, Patty was joined in marriage to Donald Jachowski and they resided in Lakeland, FL, until moving to Utica in March of 2014. While in Lakeland, Patty worked as the assistant manager of the Family Dollar, for several years. Patty loved spending time with her grandchildren and riding on the back of Don's Harley. She is survived by her beloved husband, Don; her father, Ronald Rehm; her mother and stepfather, Patrica and James Lawler; beloved grandchildren, Shauda, Terrence, and Jasmine; three brothers, William Nunes, and Kenneth and Donald Rehm; three sisters, Virginia Smith, Kathy Rehm, and Donna Rehm; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Debra Bayer, who always remained close to her heart. The family will gather on Thursday at 1 p.m. at The Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., at Mohawk St., Utica to celebrate her life. Arrangements are with The Matt Funeral Home of Utica.
