Mrs. Patricia A. (Cuda) Nole, 86, a lifelong Utica resident, passed away with her loving family by her side, Saturday January 25, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital.
Patricia was born in Utica, December 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Patrick and Adeline (Pardi) Cuda. She was educated in local schools and a graduate of TR Proctor High School. On July 4, 1957, Patricia was joined in marriage to Angelo V. Nole. They shared over 39 loving years of marriage. Her beloved Angelo passed away on March 29, 1996.
Patricia lived her life devoted to her family; her happiest memories were when they were all together, especially with her adored grandchildren. In her younger years, she was a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed crafting, and water color painting. She also performed community work, volunteering at the Rescue Mission, and with her daughter at the Hope House and Mary’s Kitchen. She loved to travel and took every opportunity possible to do so. She traveled abroad and family trips, going to Connecticut to visit with her sister, were always the most important. A true joy to spend time with, she will be sadly missed.
Patricia is survived by her children, Laurice Hanmer of Marcy, Lynn and James Laribee, of Deerfield, Karen Nole and Michael McHale, of Utica, Steven and Taryn Nole, of Rochester, and Jennifer and Dan Barnett of Johnstown; grandchildren, Jessica Schmitt, Amy Ellis, Zachary Hanmer, Douglas Laribee, Taylor Laribee, Skylar Nole, Carter Nole, and Garrett Barnett; also seven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lynn Cuda and Delores Cox; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo; grandchild, Caitlin Laribee; great grandchild, Morgan Dean Laribee; siblings, Marie and Donald Coppotelli, and Anthony Cuda; and in-laws, Mary and Andrew Morgan, Josephine and Rocco Maneen and George Cox.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church. The family will receive visitors after mass. Private interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
