Ms. Rosalie Barclay 1939 ~ 2016 Utica, NY: Ms. Rosalie Barclay, 77, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at The Heritage Home. She was born in Camden, NY, on February 7, 1939, a daughter of Howard and Nellie (Niles) Barclay. At one time, she was married to the late James George and from that union came her five children. Rosalie was a woman who accomplished much in her life; she received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and worked in child care protection for Oneida County. She was very artistic, a voracious reader, an excellent cook, and loved, loved, loved golf. Rosalie is survived by her five children, Ann George, James "Tony" Jr. and Dawn George, Charles and Lynne George, Parris and Natalie George, and Leila George Bjornland and her fiancé John Jones; six beloved grandchildren, Jamie, Karen, Michelle and Andrea George, Evan George, and Sarah and Julia Bjornland; one sister, Grace Roberson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Isaias James George; and several sisters and brothers. Her Divine Liturgy of the Faithful Departed will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Louis Gonzaga Church, celebrated by Chor-Bishop John Faris. The family will greet visitors following mass. Private interment will be held in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
