Sandra Paciello, 84, passed away, with loving family by her side, on Friday, August 20, 2021, at MVHS, St. Luke’s Campus.
Sandra was born in Utica, April 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Patsy and Stella (Komorek) Paciello. She was educated in local schools and a graduate of T. R. Proctor High School.
Sandra was employed for over 40 years, as a stenographer, at Griffiss Air Force Base, from where she retired. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and was a big supporter of the New York Yankees.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Darryl Dantzler; five grandchildren, Brianna (TJ Mundschenk), Shayla (Matt Cummings), Damian (Adreana Giehl), Sydney, and Braeden; a great grandchild, Kylend; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia Francis, and Lucille and Jim Schremp; a special cousin, Barb Paciello; good friend, Tess Collicco; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Jerry and Joan, Doug, and John Paciello; and one sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Bill Mason.
Relatives and friends may attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish. There will be no visitation. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to the intermediate care unit of St. Luke’s Hospital, for the compassion and care shown to their mother and family during this difficult time.
