Suzette (McCauley) Gillette

Mrs. Suzette (McCauley) Gillette, 59, passed away with loving family by her side Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the St. Luke’s Campus of MVHS.

Suzette was born in Oneida, NY, November 28, 1962, a daughter of the late Eric Francis and Nancy Charlotte (Thayer) McCauley. She was raised in Poland, NY and attended local schools. She was formerly married to Michael Gillette and shared twenty-seven loving years with Earl Clark Sr..

A very loving mother and grandmother, Suzette’s family was her world; cooking, sewing and crafting for them, gave her much happiness. Suzette was an avid motorcyclist, for many years and a member of the “Blue Knights”.

She is survived by seven children, Earl Jr. (Cassandra) Clark, Nancy (Gary) DiFondi, Robert (Sue) Clark, Richard (Brenda) Clark, Connie Jordan, Peggy Sue Clark, and Justin Gillette; beloved grandchildren, Ezekiel, Anastasia, Arianna, Isabella, Carmella, Austin, Robert Jr., Grace, Reannon, John, David, Kayla, Thomas, Corey, Alison, Michael, Caitlynn, Hanna, and Sophia, several great grandchildren; five brothers, Allen, Kenneth, James, David, and Eric McCauley; a sister, Ann Marie McCauley-Foster; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by Earl Clark Sr.; and two sisters, Linda Lawson and Mary Clark.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, November 16, 4 to 6 p.m., at The Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., at Mohawk St., Utica.
