Following her retirement, she began a twenty year work career as a school bus monitor for the Utica City School District and retired when she was eight-two years old. The world lost a very special person and our family has lost the funniest, smartest, most giving, and unselfish person ever. Teresa loved spending time with her family, cooking for them, and playing cards. She will be very deeply missed. She is survived by her two daughters and one-son-in law, Lucille and Gerald Camesano, and Kathleen Cortese and Shafer Lewis; one son, John J. Pimpinella Jr.; grandchildren, Dr. Terri Camesano and Dr. R. Nagarajan, Alison and Eric Sczerbaniewicz, Gerald and Megan Camesano, Lindsey Cortese, Jaime and Ed Donlon, and Marisa Pimpinella; great grandchildren, Natasha, Sophie, and Alessandra Nagarajan, Olivia Sczerbaniewicz, Will Camesano, Mia and Alexandra Donlon, Anthony Zysk, and Dominic Morasco; and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by six brothers, James, Michael, Anthony "Darb", Angelo, Rufus, and Joseph Longo and two sisters, Rose Brown and Carmella Stevens. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish, celebrated by Rev. James Cesta. Private interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. There are no calling hours but family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass. The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of the third floor at The Pines of Utica, especially Kim and Donna, for the loving care shown to their mom during her stay there.
