Todd Francis Lyons, 57, passed away after a brief illness, November 25, 2025, in the comfort of his own home.
Todd was born in Abilene, Texas, on June 6, 1968, a son of Nancy Lyons and Glenn Swisloski. He was raised and educated in Utica, and a graduate of Notre Dame JSHS. Todd went on to attend MVCC, where he studied golf, one of his many passions.
In 1994, Todd started TLC Carpet Clean, which he owned and operated the business for over 15 years. He later went on to work for HMI, as a screening specialist, for many years.
Todd had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, loved to golf, play pool, and especially enjoyed his time out in the woods. In his later years, Todd had a passion for scouring the forest for Chaga mushrooms which he would bring home and process to be sold for all different uses. He was a people person, and a sweet man, who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Todd is survived by his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Brenna and Jarrod Fitzpatrick, who are expecting their first child any day now, Callen John Fitzpatrick; loving mother, Nancy (Lyons) Montero; father and stepmother, Glenn and Kay Swisloski; brothers and sister-in-law; Brian Lyons, and Scott and Lisa Lyons; nieces and nephew, Mackenzie and Joshua Lyons, and Sarah Lyons; aunt, Debbie Cahill and her family, all of whom he was very close to throughout the years; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, especially his best friend, Jerry. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Richard Montero; and stepbrother, Richard Montero Jr.
Todd’s family will honor him in a private gathering and messages of sympathy can be made at www.MattFuneralHome.com.
