William Grant Exline Jr.

William Grant Exline Jr., 77, passed away, at Faxton St. Lukes Healthcare, Monday, March 6, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

William was born in Utica, NY, May 19, 1945, a son of the late William Grant Exline Sr. and Elizabeth “Betty” Fisher. He had a passion for family and was proud of all his children. William loved to go hunting, fishing, and enjoyed being outdoors. He enjoyed working with horses, especially his time at Vernon Downs, where he would take care of and prepare the horses for racing.

William is survived by his wife, Mary Bradley; children, Mary Ramirez of Syracuse, Elizabeth Aylsworth of Syracuse, William Marvin of Syracuse, Amanda and David Crowell of Remsen, Davida O’Neal of Syracuse, and Lynn and Troy Grenicko of Remsen; grandchildren, David Jr., Anthony, Brandon, Brian, Angela, Brianna, Danielle, Jolene, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Tommy, Emily, Rhianna, Isabela, Seraphina, Alexandria, David, Anthony, Samantha, Andy, and Karlie; great-grandchildren, Katherine, Craven, Gabriel, Dominick, Eileen, Abel, and Amarah; mother-in-law, Norine V. Gwara; also special friends, Linda and Tom and family, Robert Guyer, Brendan, Shirley and Wayne and family.  He was predeceased by his son, James B. Exline; step-son, John C. Grenicko Jr; and sister, Barbara Taylor.

William’s visitation will be held on Monday from 10 to 11a.m. at the Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., corner of Mohawk St., Utica. He will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Inc.
